The DPWH advised motorists to take alternate routes at least 14 major roads in Metro Manila are expected to be affected when the Department of Public Works and Highways (DWPH) conducts its four-day road maintenance works during the coming “long weekend.”

DPWH said road reblocking in these areas will begin from Saturday (August 27) and will end Tuesday next week (August 30).

One lane per area will be closed to traffic on the said dates. All roads will be fully passable by Wednesday (August 31), MMDA said.

Road maintenances are including the following areas:

– Edsa – Ayala (Southbound)
– Edsa – Trinoma (Southbound)
– North Avenue – Veterans Hospital
– Commonwealth near Philcoa
– Sgt. Rivera – C3
– Commonwealth – Ever Gotesco
– Congressional near Cherry between Visayas and Mindanao Avenues
– Osmeña – Don Bosco (Inner Lane)
– Edsa – Magallanes near Loading / Unloading bay
– C3 (Navotas)
– R10 (Navotas)
– Edsa – Balintawak / Monumento
– España
– Edsa – Corinthian (Northbound)
