On Thursday, the Department of Education said classes at all levels in metro manila resumed Thursday morning but still there’s a little threat of heavy rain.
“Nais namin ipaalam na base sa aming pakikipagugnayan sa PAGASA at base sa report ng 16 school division sa NCR [National Capital Region], meron nang pasok ngayong araw August 4, sa preschool, elementary at high school levels in all public and private schools,” .Assistant regional director Rizalino Rosales said in a interview
On Tuesday and Wednesday, the DepEd canceled classes due to heavy rain forecast by PAGASA.

Classes in Rosario town, San Carlos City, Muntinlupa City and in Taal are suspended due to the heavy rain.
Mayor Jose Ricafrente Jr of Cavite province declared the suspension of classes from day care to college in public and private schools effective 6 a.m on Wednesday.
Classes in all levels were suspended in Rosario town in Cavite province due to heavy rain. Mayor Jose Ricafrente Jr. said.
In San Carlos City in Pangasinan, DepEd said “Due to continuous rainfall, the Provincial Government suspended classes from Kinder to Highschool today”
Afternoon classes in Muntinlupa City and in Taal, Batangas were ordered suspended due to heavy rain. (DepEd) said.
However, classes resumed in Metro Manila and most parts of Central and Southern Luzon Wednesday.

Even though there is no storm signal alert, Classes suspended in Metro Manila from preschool to high school in private and public schools early Tuesday due to heavy rain since Monday night.
DepEd NCR assistant director Rizalino Rosales said “So we can ensure the safety of students, we decided to suspend classes in Metro Manila in the kinder, elementary and high school levels in public and private schools”
Heavy rain had fallen on various parts of Metro Manila since Monday night was due to the southwest monsoon. PAGASA said.

Classes have been suspended in some Metro Manila areas. Pre-school, elementary, and high school classes in all private and public schools in Metro Manila and some nearby cities and provinces are suspended Friday, the Department of Education (DepEd) said. They announced the suspension of classes as torrential rains battered many parts of Luzon, including Metro Manila, brought about by tropical storm Falcon.
As the DepEd announcement did not cover the tertiary level, several colleges and universities have announced the suspension of their respective classes, upon the announcement of Commission on Higher Education (CHED).
Arellano University, La Consolacion College – Pasig, Centro Escolar University – Makati, Trinity University of Asia and STI College – Caloocan has suspended their respective classes.
The DepEd also announced in its Twitter account that all classes in pre-school, elementary, and high school in, Dasmarinas, Rosario, Bacoor, Cavite City in Cavite are suspended Friday.
Classes in public and private preschool, elementary, and high schools in Angono, Cainta, Sta. Cruz, Laguna, Calamba City, Bulacan, Antipolo City, Malolos City, Subic, Zambales, Bataan, and Pangasinan are also suspended on Friday.
